Designed for Intel's latest 13th Gen Core desktop processors and compatible with high-end Z790 chipset motherboards, G.Skill Trident Z kits are meant to raise the bar for overclocked DDR5 memory speed.
The F5-8000J3848H16GX2-TZ5RK is a 32GB kit working at DDR5-8000 at CL38-48-48-128 latencies, and at 1.45V. It has been already validated by running on ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX motherboard with the Intel Core i9-13900K processor.
As a part of G.Skill's flagship Trident Z5 RGB series, it bears the recognizable sleek and streamlined aluminum heatspreader design, available in metallic silver or matte black, with a streamlined light bar, customizable through the G.SKILL lighting control software or supported third party motherboard software.
According to G.Skill, the kit should be available this month via G.SKILL worldwide distribution partners. It is currently listed, but not yet available, at Newegg.com for $530.
Currently, the fastest G.Skill kit selling over at Amazon.com are the Trident Z5 RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6600 CL34-40-40-105 kit, and the higher capacity Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5-6400 CL32-39-39-102 kit, priced at $245 and $479, respectively.
